The KT.00.000 calf cage is designed for individual housing of newborn calves up to 3-4 weeks of age. The cage structure is a metal frame made of a 30 x 30 mm profile pipe and a Ø 10 mm bar grid. In the front part of the cage there are two feeding places for installing a drinking bucket and a bowl with finished feed. On both sides, the cage is fenced with 10 mm thick plywood, which prevents direct contact between calves. This prevents calves from licking each other and the transmission of pathogens and infections through direct contact between animals.

The cages are installed in a row alternating with technological passages both in closed rooms and in open areas under a canopy. Mats, straw, or other bedding material can serve as bedding for calves in cages.
