The “Yarn” type milking parlor is created based on the concept of saving milking time, minimum space, ideal conditions for the milking operator and an exceptionally gentle milking process for cows. The modular design allows for the supply of milking units in sizes from 2×4 to 2×36. There may also be a single-row option. The cows are placed at an angle of 30⁰, which provides ideal access to the udder and good visibility during maintenance.
A gate with a mechanical drive controlled from each workplace by pressing a button ensures a quick change of cows in the machines. The robotic milker’s workplace ensures minimal time and labor costs for the milker when servicing the cows. When installing the milking unit on the teats, it is supported in a suspended state, the milker does not need to make any physical effort. The milking process of each cow is individually automatically regulated based on feedback. The unique, unparalleled manipulator perfectly positions the milking unit on the udder, eliminates the creeping of the milking cups and ensures full milking at an average speed of up to 10 liters per minute. The milking unit has several levels of automation, which can be increased during operation.
The milker’s workplace consists of a control box with a valve system and an electronic control unit, a manipulator with a milking unit, an electromagnetic pulsator and a milk meter. The electronic unit, through a valve system, controls the operation mode of the pulsator and the manipulator, providing communication with the computer of the farm’s ACS system. Milking mode control is based on feedback individually for each cow. The basis is the change in the speed of the milk flow. Depending on the milk flow and the set program, the pulsator and manipulator have 4 operating modes: cisternal portion of milk shutdown mode; milk let-down reflex stimulation mode; fast milking mode; final phase of milking mode. Then automatic removal of the milking unit.
The electronic unit contains information about the milking process, the milk yield, the mode in which the milking unit is operating, information that the computer reports to the milker from the ACS system. The electronic unit has a keyboard through which the milker can transmit information to the computer (for example, that the cow is in heat, or an injury has been noticed, or signs of mastitis have been noticed).
